Calling all Volunteers!

The success of the Minnesota HDSA Chapter can be largely attributed to the strong sense of community and commitment among active volunteers and pariticpants in the local HD community. There are a variety of ways to actively pariticpate in the Minnesota HD community.

GOOD SAMARITAN

We need people to help at University Good Samaritan's HD unit. A couple of hours of your time would make a world of difference to a resident of the HD unit, the difference between being able to go to the zoo or fishing or being left behind. Please call the University Good Samaritan at 612 332-4262 extension 229 and volunteer.

BOARD MEMBERS

The Board of Directors for the Minnesota Chapter meets every other month. If you are interested in learning more about becoming a Board member, email Bryan Viau.

FUND RAISING COMMITTEES

Each year we host several fundraisers and events. If you would like to help with any of these please email Leigh Peterson. Also we are always interested in ideas for new fundraisers.

SUPPORT GROUPS

We are always looking for new areas to have support groups in. If you have suggestions or would like to help with current support groups call Jessica Hancock, the Chapter Social Worker at 612-371-0904 or 1-877-371-0904.

AUCTION ITEMS

We are often looking for items to be auctioned at the ADE for HD dinner and other events. If you have items to donate or would like to volunteer your time and contact others to get donations, please email Joe Fahey.
