Each year, a dinner is held to benefit the HDSA Center of Excellence at
the Hennepin County Medical Center. The funds raised through this event
support the ongoing efforts to provide top notch medical care to HD patients
and families throughout the region.
This year, a committee was formed to create an event that was more than
just a standard Dinner. They have pulled out all the stops and have created
an affordable, unique and sure-to-be fun event that anyone would enjoy.
The Fourth Annual Blast
was held on Friday, February
01, 2008, at the
Metropolitan Ballroom in Golden Valley, MN. The evening
was packed with entertainment all night long,
starting off with a special awards presentation honoring Minnesota
individuals who have given so much of themselves in the fight against
HD. There was wonderful items offered at silent and live auctions and
then entertainment
from Martini and Olive.
